At the conference, the Head of Holographic laboratory Andrey Smirnov will give a presentation "On applications of computer-generated holograms in security printing using digital information processing". Andrey Smirnov will focus on the possibilities of using computer-generated holograms in the security printing industry. 

The presentation reveals the outcomes of the application of digital printing generated Fourier holograms, personalized marks in the form of micro Fourier holograms, and special marks based on kinoform elements. These features can be identified and read with a smartphone and a special optoelectronic device.

The International Conference on Holography and Applied Optical Technologies HOLOEXPO 2021 will be held on September 20-23 in Gelendzhik, Russia. The conference brings together leading scientific institutes and hologram manufacturers from Russia, Belarus, and other countries. This is the main Russian venue for researchers to present their work in the field of optical holography. The conference discusses the methods of digital holography, optical-holographic data processing, holographic photo sensitive materials, augmented and virtual reality displays.
