Chemical Laboratory
The new Chemical Laboratory will exercise input control of raw materials and the synthesis of components for production. The laboratory specialists will be able to develop a wide range of chemical compositions that are used in the manufacture of holographic elements: varnishing, gluing, priming, thermoactive, photopolymerizing. This will reduce import and shift the company to using its ready-made formulations, thereby reducing the cost of finished products.
The launch of the Chemical Laboratory will enhance the quality of components and increase control over the characteristics of materials. For use in holographic production, varnishes, adhesives, and other compounds must provide high reliability and maintain the optical effects of the security elements. With an in-house laboratory, we will be able to create chemical compositions that meet the special requirements for the manufacturing of security printing products.
Holographic Laboratory
This year it is planned to expand the company's holographic laboratory. The laboratory will be equipped with a new set-up for digital recording of colour 3D holograms. KRYPTEN possesses proprietary technologies for the production of 3D-Gram™ photopolymer holograms and is actively developing new photopolymer features. The new set-up will enable 3D modeling of holographic objects and recording CG images. In addition to the analog method of recording volume holograms, we will be able to create more complex holographic images and significantly expand our 3D-Gram™ portfolio.
To manufacture a large-format master shim of holographic images, another UV recombination set-up will be installed in the laboratory. It will broaden the laboratory capacity, including producing laminate layouts and wide seamless wallpaper holograms.

New Equipment
KRYPTEN recognizes the importance of the research base development and equipping the enterprise with modern machinery. The company is completing the installation of two new 1200 mm wide web embossers which will increase manufacturing capacity and raise the output of the holographic elements by several times.
We allocate significant resources to maintaining production machinery at a high technical level. In 2021, the equipment for vacuum deposition, polymer extrusion, and printing machines will be upgraded.
